EL NEWSLETTER is an email I send out occasionally. It contains links to little-known websites, videos, and pictures, along with my opinions on various topics and whatever else catches my attention.

ELNEWSLETTER is not what you’d expect from a newsletter. There’s no layout and no design, it’s basically just a regular email, the kind a friend would send you. I started writing it around 2001, sending it to 4 or 5 actual friends who liked what I found on the internet. This was before Facebook, Twitter, any of that. Nobody was sending “newsletters” back then. Every issue is written by hand, nothing is automated or scheduled. Today, more than 1,000,000 people read it.
